Cote d’Ivoire laity presents clergy with bikes and Bibles

October 16 2016 was Laity Sunday across the United Methodist Church. The celebration is a time to recognize the work of all laity – men and women – not only within the church but also in everyday life.

To mark this years edition in the Cote d’Ivoire UMC, the Ivorian laity joined their hands with those of their brothers and sisters from the North Georgia Annual Conference to present clergy with bicycles and Bibles, to support evangelism in the country.
